“Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation recently held it 64th Annual Meeting in Victoria, and it was a roaring success! The Victoria Conference Centre, together with Tourism Victoria, provided us with a seamless and wonderful experience. An early site visit convinced us that the Conference Centre, together with a number of downtown hotels, all within walking distance of the Center, would be an ideal location for our annual meeting. The Conference Centre staff and Tourism Victoria combined in their efforts to make our decision to hold the meeting in Victoria an easy one. Their staffs worked closely with us, helping us to coordinate guest rooms at eight different properties, obtaining agreements from hotel for rebates to offset the cost of renting Convention Centre space, and showing off Victoria in a way that we knew the location would be a huge success. The Conference Centre itself was a great facility. Even a special building, Crystal Garden, which was perfect for our hosted reception for the entire group and families. The Centre’s staff was incredibly efficient, great ballroom space, great internet access, and everything so close by. Why Victoria? It just had a mystique about it. All the advantages of a big city, but so much more intimate. Incredible weather, friendly people, wildlife galore in the nearby waters, great food, flowers everywhere. Many of our delegates told us it was our best location by far.”
